POSTAL ENTRY GUIDE

You do not have to purchase entries online to take part in our competitions. As set out in our Rules, Terms & Conditions, a no‑purchase‑necessary postal option is always available and every valid postal entry is treated in exactly the same way as a paid entry.

How to enter by post

Hand-write (or type and print) your full name, the email address you wish us to use for confirmation, and your answers to both the current knowledge‑based question and the judgment‑based tie‑breaker question on a plain sheet of paper. Seal the sheet in an envelope addressed to: Day One Prizes Ltd, 49 Discovery House, 15 Susans Road, Eastbourne, BN21 3AG, United Kingdom.

Post your envelope with the correct postage. We recommend First‑Class to ensure safe delivery. Your entry must arrive at least five calendar days before the advertised competition closing date; later deliveries cannot be accepted.

How many entries you receive

Provided all details are correct, one postal submission credits you with the maximum five entries that any entrant may hold in a draw. Only one postal submission is allowed per person for each competition.

Confirmation and processing

We will email you within five working days of receiving your envelope to confirm that your entry is valid and has been added to the draw.

Important rules to remember

You may choose either the online route or the postal route, but not both for the same competition; if both are used, only online entries will count. All other eligibility requirements — such as being a UK resident aged 18+ (or 16 – 17 with verifiable parental consent) — apply equally to postal entrants.
